What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Tiger Mountain Trail for its stunning Taipei 101 views and accessibility, calling it a great workout and a favorite sunset spot. While generally considered beginner-friendly, some note it still requires stamina, and the paths can be narrow in places. The well-maintained nature of the trail and the presence of elderly hikers highlight its appeal across different age groups.
"I had an awesome Double Tenth Day hiking from Songshan Ci Hui Temple to Tiger Mountain for the fireworks! Both climbs were a good workout, but the views from the top were incredible. Ci Hui Temple is magnificent, and Tiger Mountain gives you an amazing panorama of the city. If you're up for a challenging hike with a spectacular view, I highly recommend this route for next year's fireworks show!"

"My favourite sunset spot in Taiwan. It’s roughly a 1 km hike. Worth the effort for the view. Go for the sunset and it was beautiful. Head to the fireworks viewing area rather than the usual photographers lookout point. It’s only a 100 meter away but 0 crowd."
