What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Zhongxiao Night Market is a vibrant local spot praised for its delicious and authentic street food, particularly its Xiao Long Bao and crispy pork belly. While the linear layout and traffic can make navigation a bit challenging, the lively atmosphere and diverse culinary offerings make it a worthwhile visit for food lovers. Some visitors note that it might not be worth going out of their way for compared to larger markets, especially if visiting on a Sunday when vendors may be setting up later.
"A night Market featuring stalls on both sides of the road. As there is traffic on going all the time, it makes manoeuvring a bit difficult . But the food is nice, especially the sugar cane milk, barley milk , fruit tea and the xiao long bao."
Sam Lim
"A night market, serving the local community, this market is midsized, linear and runs about four blocks in length. Multiple restaurants add to the variety and if you happen to be in the area, drop by.
Though the map lists hours starting at 3PM, none of the vendor were set up the Sunday I visited. I returned later at about 8PM to find them open and spent a little over an hour here, walking a few laps.
Would I go out of my way to come here, considering they have shorter hours compared to Yizhong or Hanxi, no. Logistically, one would have to leave the others during prime time to come here. Yizhong is open by mid afternoon and runs all night. Hanxi is up and running by 6PM and is open till 1AM.
Since I did want to check out as many night markets as I can, I hopped on a scooter and ride the 10 minutes here, before retiring for the night."

"Pretty busy but nice place to visit, eat Andi drink"
