"Another monument with no information provided. (Can be looked up online, of course.) The three smaller monuments look interesting but I can’t imagine what they’re about."

"Sadr al-Din Aini (1256-1333/1878-1954) is considered a pioneer of modern Tajik Persian literature in the 20th century. He was a critic, poet, writer, historian, and linguist, and he created works in each of these fields, most of which contributed greatly to the literary, social, and cultural transformations of Transoxiana in the 20th century. Aini's special perspective in most of his works is defined by a specific definition of Russian socialism. This research seeks to answer several questions from a critical perspective in the field of this great man's life and works, his view of Iran, and his place in the Iranian literary community. Sadr al-Din Aini's works, which are derived from his thoughts and ideas, contain the turning point of his freedom and continuity at the same time, and the October Revolution of 1917 in Russia is the origin of this duality. Some of his tangible works, such as the book of notes and The Executioners of Bukhara, belong to the first type of thought, and his novels, poems, and articles to the second type of thought. The photos and video are from a square at the end of Rudaki Street in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, which was built in memory of this poet and writer in the winter of 1403."

"Reconstruction of Ayni Square in Dushanbe Completed
The reconstruction of Ayni Square, which began in mid-June last year, has been completed, a source in the Dushanbe mayor's office told Asia-Plus.
The renovation covered about 6,000 square meters, of which 2,700 square meters were planted with flowers, trees and a lawn.
All 6 fountains and the lighting equipment of the square have been completely renovated.
Recall that last year, the management of the State Unitary Enterprise "Tajik Railways" on its own initiative ordered a project for the reconstruction of the square. The project was presented to President Emomali Rahmon, and he supported it.
As part of the reconstruction, the design of the square, fountains, sidewalks, and lawn were changed.
In addition, the underground pedestrian crossing connecting the square with the building of the Tajik Institute of Fine Arts and Design (the former building of the National Museum of Tajikistan) was renovated.
The location of the sculptures on the square remained the same, they were not replaced and new sculptures were not installed on the square.
All expenses for the reconstruction of the square were covered by the Tajik Railway.
The square was opened in 1978 in honor of the 100th anniversary of Sadriddin Aini, the founder of modern Tajik literature.
Around the monument to Aini are sculptures of characters from his works.
