"I took a day trip to visit farms and rural villages in Arusha area and the experience was amazing. We could understand about farming activities, rural way of life, we tasted local food and prepared local coffee. The landscape was beautiful and the tourist guides were kind and provided very useful information. I really recommend this! They support the local community."

"My family and I spent a few hours with Emanuel yesterday. We are so glad we did and would have stayed for the whole day and even the night if our schedule had allowed. I contacted Emmanuel at short notice and he was very responsive, easy going and flexible. He picked us up from town and we drove to Ifulong which is a gorgeous village at the bottom of Mount Meru. Everything is very green and the locals were so friendly. Emmanuel brought us for a walk through the local banana farms where we learned so much about the local economic activities, the crops and vegetation including vanilla, pumpkins, turmeric and coffee. We then fried some of the bananas we had picked and had a lovely lunch together after our walk. We had a mixed groups of people in their 20's up to 70's and everyone had a great day. Really recommend the Ifulong cultural centre. Thank you Emanuel and team!"

"Worth the visit!
We made a day trip vom Arusha. Emanuel picked us up and spent the whole day with us. As we are hikers he walked the large tour around this village, which is +/- 500 meters altitude and 13 km (no worries he adapts to your physical condition!).
His knowledge is incredible about plants and vegetables they are cultivating on this mountain. Same for the village life and the buildings you see.
We had wonderful home made food at his place and roasted our own coffee which was excellent as well. And we tasted Banana wine.
As mentioned in the headline, it is absolutely worth doing this cultural tour."
