What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Soi Ta-iad is widely praised for its world-class Muay Thai training, supportive community, and vibrant fitness atmosphere. Many highlight the quality of instructors and the convenience of having everything needed for a fitness journey on one street. However, some reviews mention overcrowding and potential disparities in attention for non-fighting trainees.
"I trained at Singha for 2-3 weeks (I left for Koh Samui to go train over there, tried 2 gyms in Samui but Singha was the best so I came back after a couple of days !)
All the trainers are really good! They’ll push you and take the time to show you new technics and perfect the one you think you know! Group classes and privates are great!
I have Muay Thai experience but I saw a lot of beginners and/or fighters and they were able to adjust the trainings depending on your level! There was also no ego, very good environnement to push yourself and learn.
Really enjoyed my time there. It is really like a family! I’m already planning my next year’s trip to come train here for a full month!
Thank you to the whole team "

"Great instructors. Patient with beginners but did not ease up too much. Be cautious it is hot and humid and it is an open air gym. They have fans throughout the room that helps to stand in front of on breaks. Would recommend bringing at least 1.5L of water with you to class. They also walk around snapping pictures and videos if you’re interested you can give a little donation at the end to get those files airdropped. Class wasn’t too crowded when i went, probably 6-7 people max and 1 trainer per person."

"Exactly what I always hoped for in a gym. Champion trainers that give daily 1 on 1 coaching. Fundamentals and endurance are the focus here. No egos, family atmosphere. Everyone working to make each other better. Not even the pros are above the beginners, anyone is approachable and willing to help you out in a heartbeat. Truly feels like home."
