"🌅 A Sunset, Unexpected
— at Bang Saray Pier
A sunset I stumbled upon—
So unlike the lively breath of morning,
The harbor at dusk offers a gentle stillness.
The silhouettes of worn boats and the rugged pier
Rest beneath a sun that sinks slowly,
Quietly—yet dazzling in its farewell.
One side burns like a bold Impressionist stroke,
The other blushes softly,
like a Renoir bathed in pink light.
Nature, day after day,
gifts us a beauty deeper than any art."

"This was a fun, short side trip. We walked to the end of the pier and admired the views and the fishes. It looked like a great place to buy very fresh fish in bulk. I overheard a lady telling another lady her fish were for sale for 75 baht per kilo, sold by the basketful. We had already bought 5 kilos of fish that morning or we would have bought some here. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for bulk fish or just for a quick walk to admire the surroundings. It looked like there were some charter boats you could take for fishing trips. Maybe we will try that next time."

"Excellent to wander down the pier, lots to look at especially sunrise when the boats return.
Spend an hour or so, enjoy watching the ladies sorting the night’s seafood catch.
Note the adjacent pier to the south can be accessed by Soi Tessaban this is a five minute walk away. This pier has a cafe halfway down that’s open early morning for the fishermen. Great coffee ☕️
Ice crusher bagging for the fresh seafood is also at this pier."
