What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Choeng Thale Market is a decent local spot for a casual evening, offering a good selection of street food and fresh produce at reasonable prices. While it can be quiet and less vibrant on weeknights, weekend evenings bring a livelier atmosphere. It's a convenient place for a quick meal or some light souvenir shopping, though not a major tourist attraction.
"Visited around 8 PM on a Monday, and there wasn’t much happening — only a few shops were open with limited food options. Prices were reasonable, but choices were quite few since it’s a small market. There are some front seats available for dining, though you often need to wait for someone to leave. Overall, it’s a fairly average night market experience — fine for a quick visit but not a must-see spot in Phuket"

"A small market with both food and items.
Fresh fish, meat, chicken, fruit & vegetables available and abundant. Numerous cooked food stalls also to sample dishes or purchase your evening feed. Fried foods on sticks, soups, kebabs and juices.
Other stall sellers had the usual Thai market fare of T shirts, shorts, knock off bags, sunglasses, scarfs and toys.
Worth popping over if your evening is free."
