What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ton Kloi Waterfall offers a rewarding but challenging jungle trek, with many praising the stunning natural beauty and the immersive experience provided by knowledgeable guides. However, the mandatory and costly guide requirement, along with the trail's difficulty, can be a deterrent for some visitors. The park's management and guide organization have also received criticism for perceived inefficiency.
"The trail is really nice inside the jungle and with very well-marked paths. I saw a lot of macaques there and the natural pool are perfect to refresh a bit ! You just have to know that you canβt go to the Ton Kloi Waterfall alone, a guide is required near
the middle of the trek."

"I hire a guide to take me to Ton Kloi waterfall , at first i asked if i can go on my own but they said no i must hire a guide to take me there , they said its hard and i may get loss , the price is over 2,000 baht at first and i was not sure if itβs gonna worth for the money but i try , my guide name is Ton he took me along the trail til the top of Ton Kloi waterfall , oh ! We start at 8.30 am finished 6 pm , on the way to the end he show me so many things, animals , fruits, trees, mushroom , views also some story about animals and took a lot of pictures and vdo for me haha π , we also saw elephants poops and bull poops on the way the remind me i can not go on my own like they said because i could meet those animals and get in to troble π but lucky me we did not π it took us 4 hours to got to the top of the waterfall and then we had a break , swim , eat lunch and coffee , he made coffee by bamboo too witch just cool π , i want to explain about the trail from the gate to the waterfall , its not easy and also not safe to hike on your own because behind the gate is no sign also the trail could change or get block in anytime when storm come , some part have no idea where to walk left or right its all look confused , some part is very small trail walk and down there is abyss imagine if you fell and no one could see or help you , the most importation the wild animals like bulls, elephants , tigers you could meet because on the way some part We saw the bulls foot prints , i read some review said about the feel that to pay for hire the guide is like a scam believe me it is hard work to hike 4 hours to waterfall and 3 hours back the guide have to spend all day long taking care of you and be with you for your safety , and the reason they have to lock the gate because some tourist is go hike on the own and get loss many times !! so !!! What i want to share my experience is if you guys still hesitate about the guide price !!! Look at my vdo and pictures i post on and believe me you wonβt get charge over price But what you will get is the experience and an amazing time there , also we have 2 hours brake then head back take us about 3 hours , this price you paid will be nothing if you see how much the guide will show and take you , just keep hiking till the top never give up βοΈβ°οΈπ enjoy your traveling and i hope this may help you a bit π take care"
