What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the stunning natural beauty of Koh Mook and Koh Kradan, highlighting the magical Emerald Cave and the pristine beaches. The islands offer a peaceful, authentic Thai experience away from the crowds, with friendly locals and a relaxed pace of life. However, some note that during the low season, amenities can be limited, and cash is essential due to unreliable ATMs.
"Another beautiful island destroyed. Unchecked "development" full of garbage. You need to watch out for motorbikes constantly on the narrow "streets" because locals are driving them basically everywhere. I've seen people using motorbikes to drop off someone 20 meters away. And of course youngsters driving around just for fun. High speed, blind corner, doesn't matter. Trash is everywhere. Locals burn plastics too, so you can smell the paradise. Same sad story across whole southeast Asia."

"Great island for a quite stay in Thailand without crowds of tourists, reasonable prises and beautiful beaches. The Emerald cave is a must go..."

"We debated which island to stay on. We were very satisfied with ko muk (koh mook). It was a small island feel, lots of great restaurants, both on the beach and in the village. The tours were a great price form PK Tours, and locally run. The stores leave their doors open all night, and are very trusting and safe.
There are several beaches, in additional to the pier. Very happy we choose to stay here."
