Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Similan Islands for their breathtaking natural beauty, describing the waters as crystal-clear turquoise and the beaches as powdery white. The vibrant marine life makes it a diver's and snorkeler's paradise. However, some find day trips to be crowded and the travel time quite long.

"Beautiful & amazing islands 💞 Really worth to come eventho the journey is quite far from the mainland Phang Nga, takes up to 1 hour & 30 minutes by catamaran boat. Clean & white beaches. A must go for a short hike to the viewpoint. Clear & nice trail. Hope the corals will grow even more & preserved well. Keep protecting this national park ❤️"

"Visiting Similan Islands National Park was an unforgettable experience. The natural beauty is absolutely breathtaking—crystal-clear turquoise waters, powdery white sand beaches, and vibrant marine life that makes it a diver’s dream. Whether you’re snorkeling, diving, or just relaxing on the beach, every moment feels magical. The underwater visibility is incredible, and I was lucky to see colorful coral reefs, sea turtles, and schools of tropical fish. It’s also well-preserved, with a focus on conservation, which I really appreciated. A must-visit for nature lovers and adventure seekers"

Thabang Lekwadi

"The islands are quite far from Karon Beach. It takes about an hour and a half by bus to the pier (near the bridge connecting Phuket to the mainland), then an hour and 40 minutes by speedboat to the islands. Each island stop is about 30 minutes, so you get three 30-minute sessions to swim and take photos, plus an hour on the last island. The return trip takes the same amount of time to get back to the hotel. Overall, the travel time is very long, which is a big downside. The service is good, and the islands are amazing. As for the price: you should negotiate, it usually comes out to about 2000 baht per person.
The food is simple – snacks, rice, chicken, no alcohol, but they provide water. Suggest you read other feedback."
