What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Masjid Nurul Ihsan for its incredibly welcoming and friendly Muslim community, creating a 'feels like home' atmosphere. The authentic Malay and Thai Muslim food, especially the flavorful beef soup, is a major highlight. While the mosque itself is a peaceful place for prayer, navigating to it can be a challenge due to its less-than-perfect mapping.
"Alhamdulillah, a beautiful Masjid surrounded by a Muslim community.
The khutba was in Thai and Arabic, a little different style wise from the traditional Khutba's I'm familiar. Although a diverse congregation was present including Malaysian's and other Asians.
The Masjid's seems to have plenty of space in a courtyard but no vehicular parking. Actually there is a small dirt track leading to the Masjid, not that great on a wet day.
I have really struggled to get pertinent information about Masjid's and Prayer times in Thailand. Please do add this basic information to your website's and on Google. Possibly, we have a very shy Muslim community and hence the reluctance to share such information.
I have been told about Masjid's in Koh Samui but they are not on maps and hence very difficult to get a taxi to such location.
Accuracy of location is also low."

"If you are muslim, find this place. The food was amazing. The beef soup so tender. Full of flavour. They can speak malay too but kelantaneese. I love Koh samui. The food, the people.. the beach... we ride from alor setar kedah to koh samui for 14hour. Minus 7 hour for border, ferry, rest.."

"The congregation was super friendly and welcoming. Came after Friday prayers, got there by motorcycle. Might be tricky for cars to reach there."
