"My Honest Experience at Xbungy – Pattaya Bungy Jump

I recently visited Xbungy – Pattaya Bungy Jump, and I feel a strong responsibility to share my experience so others can make informed decisions.

To start with, the location was quite remote and felt isolated. Although we were initially unsure, one of the staff members was very persuasive, so we decided to go and check it out. Once there, things moved quickly — we were handed a waiver form and asked to fill in personal information, including our passport numbers. They mentioned that insurance was in place, but the whole process felt unclear and lacked proper explanation.

What concerned us more was that they charged 600 Baht per person, regardless of whether you actually jump or not — something we were not clearly told in advance. It felt like there was no option to back out without a financial penalty, which was quite unsettling.

As a doctor, I was particularly concerned about the safety standards. The gear, especially the compression straps (or what seemed like compression stockings), looked worn-out and overly tight. While being strapped in, I experienced numbness and a sharp, pin-prick sensation in my legs, which is not a normal or healthy adrenaline response. From a medical perspective, this kind of discomfort raises red flags about the condition and suitability of the equipment.

Adventure sports should never compromise on basic safety, transparency, or ethics. This experience, unfortunately, lacked in all three.

I’m sharing this not to attack anyone, but to ensure that fellow travelers are aware and cautious. If you’re planning to do bungee jumping in Pattaya, I strongly recommend researching thoroughly and choosing a place that ensures your comfort, safety, and informed consent from the start.

Adventure should be exciting — not uneasy or unsafe.

1. I was there with my father, not my husband.
When a father-daughter duo is misrepresented as a couple, it speaks volumes about how little attention was actually paid to the customer. Also shows how superficial the interaction really was!

2. While you mention having explained the price breakdown and policies, I must reiterate that this was not clearly communicated to us at the time. If it had been, we would have made an informed decision — instead, we felt cornered into paying fees that were not transparently disclosed up front.
3. Regarding safety concerns, I spoke purely from my own experience and medical knowledge. What I observed and physically felt during the activity was enough to raise red flags. As a customer — and especially as a healthcare professional — I believe it is important to share honest feedback when safety feels compromised.
4. Lastly, I want to be very clear: this review is not an attack on your business or your staff personally. It is an honest reflection of how I felt during my visit — one that I hope helps others make more informed choices."
