"An initial 1 week booking turned into a 6 week stay! In short, I felt at home right away and having stayed at many other hotels and Airbnb’s across Thonglor and Ekkamai, One One Bangkok represented the best value for money. The good bits:
1.) Location. High concentration of the best cafes and restaurants within a 5 minute walk.
2.) Very clean and comfortable rooms. The bed was comfy and the sound insulation above average. A particular mention for the cleaner Gail (most likely the wrong spelling but she takes care of the 2nd floor). In addition to keeping my room super clean, her smile and warm persona would always brighten up my day. She’s amazing!
3.) Customer Service was generally good. A particular mention for Mink who checked in with me regularly and ensured my stay was comfortable throughout. I appreciate her!
4.) Restaurant - so underrated and offered great value for money. I will miss the fresh watermelon smoothie! A particular mention for On who does a great job running the restaurant. She’s amazing!
There are some areas which can be improved but at this price point, I don’t consider these to be noteworthy.

"I don’t usually write hotel reviews, and if I encounter minor issues, I tend to overlook them. However, my experience at this hotel was so bad that I feel compelled to share it. While the hotel was clean, it was poorly maintained, and the level of service was unacceptable.
The issues began with the shower. It was broken, with barely any water pressure—just a few drops trickling out, making it a struggle to bathe. Later that night, I sat on the sofa, and it literally broke, causing me to fall. When I called the reception to report the broken shower and sofa, they told me an engineer would fix it the next day. I asked if I could switch rooms, but they said none were available.
The following day, after being out for most of the day, I returned to the room at 8 p.m., only to find that neither the shower nor the sofa had been fixed. When I asked the reception why, they claimed it was because I had activated the “Do Not Disturb” sign. But if that were true, how did housekeeping manage to clean the room, change the towels, and replenish toiletries? Their excuse made no sense.
Finally, after insisting, they offered me a new room. While the new room didn’t have the same issues, the service remained frustrating. For example, I requested an iron, and they said they would send it “in a minute.” After waiting for over an hour without any response, I called back, but there was no update. If the iron wasn’t available, a simple communication to inform me would have been the bare minimum.
The hotel is clean, but the lack of maintenance and poor communication from staff made this one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I would not recommend this place unless they address these glaring issues."
