Romaneenart Park offers a unique blend of recreation and history, standing on the grounds of a former prison. Visitors appreciate the extensive outdoor gym and skatepark, as well as the green spaces for relaxation. The historical elements, like the guard towers, add a distinctive character, though some find the park's past a bit somber.

"Nice park in Bangkok to get some rest, it was quite quiet there, not too much people. Some were playing football, some were just chilling or visited with their kids.
A nice little green oasis in the big city of Bangkok."

Robin Hüwener

"Lovely little park, considering it was once a prison, with some buildings and towers still standing. There are restrooms, a play area, basketball court, various exercise equipment and a full gym area with weights. There's a track around the park for running and walking. As of June 2025 sections of the park are fenced off due to construction of the new MRT orange line but that does not stop you from enjoying this well looked after park"

stephen davis

"You can spend time in this park how you like, exercise, stroll, chill. Thats the beauty of the Bangkok city parks. This park was a prison so was of interest. The retained features give the place a certain tranquility, and as always it was pleasant green respite. Near to mrt also so a good taxi drop off."
