What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Sarika Waterfall is praised for its beautiful, peaceful natural setting and refreshing swimming opportunities. Visitors appreciate its accessibility from Bangkok, making it a great day trip. However, the significant price difference for foreign tourists and the potential for large crowds are common points of feedback.
"Beautiful waterfall surrounded by lush greenery 🌿
We visited Sarika Waterfall on a Sunday, and it was quite crowded, lots of people coming to enjoy the weekend. Despite that, the waterfall itself is very beautiful and powerful, especially after heavy rain the day before. Because of the strong current, the staff didn’t allow visitors to swim in many sections, which is understandable for safety reasons.
The scenery is absolutely worth the trip, surrounded by dense forest and fresh mountain air. There’s even a hotel located right in front of the waterfall, so you can stay overnight and wake up to the sound of rushing water and birds.
A lovely natural spot for a short getaway, especially if you love nature and don’t mind a bit of a crowd on weekends. 🌧️💧"

"Sarika Waterfall is a nine-tiered waterfall cascading down the cliff to a forested hillside. Each tiere has a large natural pool offering a perfect spot for swimming or just sit and relaxing in the cool water.
The terrain and the concrete staircase to the foot of the falls may be quite challenging to the handicapped and elderly. There is no handrail for the staircase.
Restaurants, café, hotels and resorts, as well as free public parking and paid parking on premises are available nearby.
Entrance fee:
Adults 40 baht and children 20 baht for Thais.
Adults 200 baht and children 100 baht for foreigners.
Thai Senior Citizens are free."
