"I usually don’t spend money on expensive food, but since this was my birthday dinner, I held very high expectations for the meal and I will comment honestly.
I chose the Unforeseen 9-Course Menu, and to be honest, I was expecting a “wow” factor that never came. It was quite disappointing.
Was the service and the night view worth it? — Yes, absolutely.
Before each dish, the staff checked in with me about the pacing, paid attention to my needs, and even informed me in advance when it was about to rain and moved me indoors (I was seated outside). The sommelier was also very professional in explaining the wine pairings.
The outdoor riverside seating, with a full panoramic view of Bangkok’s night skyline, was breathtaking. They also prepared a small birthday cake for me, which was a sweet touch.
For 6,000 THB (including tax and service charge) the service and night view were worth it; the food was not.
