What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Khun Chang Khian for its stunning mountain scenery, cool climate, and the unique cultural experience of the Hmong village. The high-quality local Arabica coffee and the chance to see peach and sakura blossoms (in season) are major draws. However, the narrow and winding mountain roads require cautious driving, and some find the village itself to be quite small.
"There's a nice walking trail from Doi Suthep to Khun Chang Khian. The trail is not at all exposed thus make it a very nice walking trail even on a sunny day."

"A small village with Hmong community and a school here with a great view point and a coffee shop run by the school students, cute girls and boys contribute their time here learning how to serve , good project run by the school. Road heading here is very narrow and need to be very very careful while heading up here , weather here is cooling all year round and u may experience sakura 🌸 bloom on winter mostly on January or February"
Big Bike Culture BBC
"A peaceful, beautiful small village in the middle of the mountains. We drove the motorbike for about 1 hour. The road to get here is not difficult if you drive steadily. We arrived on January 12 and 40% of the peach blossoms along both sides of the road were blooming. I think in about 2 weeks it will be very beautiful when the flowers bloom."
