What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors are consistently impressed by the breathtaking panoramic views of Hua Hin and the coastline from Khao Hin Lek Fai. The abundance of wildlife, particularly monkeys, adds a unique charm, though caution is advised. While the paths are generally well-maintained, some litter off the main trails and potential network signal issues are minor drawbacks.
"First time visiting this overlook, and I was pleasantly surprised! It’s more like a park perched on top of a mountain, with stunning views up and down the coast. There’s plenty of free parking, lots of shade, and a surprising amount of wildlife — I saw monkeys, birds, a couple of goats, a horse, and even a dog roaming around. 🐒🐐🐎
The walking paths are concrete with a layer of rocks on top, which gives great traction in wet weather — though not the best for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.
When I was there, I saw at least half a dozen workers actively cleaning the paths, which was great to see. I do wish they’d extend the cleanup efforts under the viewing platforms and just off the main trails — quite a bit of plastic litter there.
Still, the views really make up for it, and I’m hoping on my next visit it’ll be even better. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area!"
