Reviews Summary

While morning tides can affect space, a short walk reveals plenty of room. It provides a good balance of natural beauty and accessible amenities like restaurants and shops.
"This beach is also called blacksand beach.
The beach is lovely with a lot of treasures as my kids described.
It was not very clear but it's still lovely.
We stayed at The Sands so we walked out when it was low tide but the waves were quite strong.
We love the beautiful fallen trees and the drifted woods."

"A beautiful close to nature beach. We found a lot of wildlife here like crabs, snake, lizard and interesting birds. It's not a typical commercial beach and in the morning there's hardly any space to put your towel down because of the tide, but you just have to walk 10 minutes to get to a good spot. It's great for walking and exploring. Also beautiful sunsets."

"I love this beach. It has not been ruined by tacky big expensive resorts. It retains it natural charm. It is good for swimming (in the dry season). If you go north towards Mai Khao it is pretty deserted. If you stay in the middle it has little street food stalls and restaurants on the beach, with Thai food (but it does not impose and ruin the beach). There are people around here but nothing like other beaches in Phuket. If you go south, it is quieter and pretty with moored long-tail boats. I am so glad I chose to stay close to this beach. There is a good supermarket close by too (Pops)."
