"Had the best experience ever with Rocktapus. Really friendly staff really put me at ease. Our instructor Katie was just the best. She was a great teacher and constant source of reassurance. Just completed my open water 20 and am going to start my advanced. Saw some amazing sights on our 4 dives (especially at pinnacle) which I will never forget. Saw massive shoals of fish swimming all around us. Can't recommend highly enough. Especially Katie. Thanks guys, P"

"I did my Open Water Certification with Roctopus and I couldn’t be happier! The whole team is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful – I felt at home from the very first moment.
A special shoutout goes to my instructor Susi: she’s not only super knowledgeable and experienced, but also has the most wonderful personality. I felt completely safe during every dive. Her calm, positive energy made the entire course such a special and empowering experience.
I had been diving a few times before at other schools, but only now do I realize how little attention was paid to my health, safety, and proper technique back then. Roctopus really sets a new standard – they take their time, explain everything in detail, and truly care about their students.
I’m also really glad I chose RAID over PADI – the philosophy and focus on safety and environmental awareness just felt right. One of the things I loved most about Roctopus is that they regularly organize ocean clean-up events. You can tell they truly care about protecting the ocean and making a real impact.
Thank you for this unforgettable experience – I can truly recommend Roctopus from the bottom of my heart!"

"My boyfriend and I completed our RAID 20 meter open water course through Roctopus on the 29th March 2025. As there are so many dive schools on the island it can be a bit overwhelming picking a school that suits your individual preferences. The reviews for Roctopus seemed very genuine and we liked that the groups were only quite small. We booked via email which was very easy with quick response times. Our instructor, Keli, was highly experienced having completed over 2,000 dives in her career. Keli was patient in explaining all of the very technical sides of diving. Especially the physics which is something I struggled with, but she took the time to go over any queries we had. By the end I felt that I had a deep understanding of the theory behind diving. We had the most amazing time over the 4 day course. It was split effectively with the first day being a few hours in the classroom. The second day was classroom/ exam based with some practical work in the pool later on. We had our final exam and first dive on the third day, and by then we all felt quite confident in our abilities. The final day was amazing, a morning dive where we saw large schools of fish including barracudas, along with spotted rays and many other beautiful fish and corals.
We both fell in love with diving and will definitely be making use of our certification in the future. Thank you to Keli and all the staff at Roctopus for such a wonderful experience."
