"We visited after their second opening of the day. They stay open until dinner, then reopen afterwards. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and given a tour. It was shorter than expected—probably because they were busy—and, sadly, we were the only visitors that day. They really need as many visitors and volunteers as possible to help.
Some of the dogs were wary of people, but most were full of excitement. Staff and volunteers were everywhere, doing their best. Unfortunately, with over 1,000 dogs in their care, they rely heavily on people to spend time interacting and playing with them. Each caged area usually has one or two workers, while others are busy cleaning and feeding behind the scenes.
I was happy to finally visit this place, though it was heartbreaking to see so many dogs in need. Still, it’s comforting to know they are safe here. Around 500 animals are rehomed each year worldwide, which is amazing—it’s wonderful to see dogs and cats finding loving families. The care and dedication of the team is clear. Some animals are in intensive care, and the shelter even offers free neutering for dogs and cats. Everything was clean, with fresh water and food always available

"Best Dog Foundation I ever encountered. Doing so much good for the dog, and cat, population and the people who live side by side with them in Thailand and South- East Asia. Don't just donate, volunteer for at least 2 days to help the organisation take care of their dog population and their activities. This should be a mandatory activity for employees of companies and corporations to give awareness, understanding and the chance to do, and not only think about, charity in the world.
