What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Tat Ton National Park for its beautiful waterfalls, tranquil atmosphere, and family-friendly picnic spots. The opportunity to wade in the refreshing river water is a highlight. However, the significant price difference in entrance fees for foreigners compared to Thai nationals is a recurring point of contention for some.
"Tan Tot National Park is a beautiful and peaceful place, perfect for hiking, relaxing, and enjoying nature. The trails are well-marked, the views are great, and the atmosphere is very calm — ideal for a quiet day out.
However, I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the entrance fee for foreigners is 5 times higher than for Thai nationals. The park is definitely worth visiting, but the dual pricing feels a bit unfair.
Still, it’s a wonderful spot for nature lovers and absolutely worth the trip!"

"Right after the end of the raining season Tat Ton waterfall carries plenty of water. While not very high it is a decent size stream falling over a sandstone cliff. Upstream one can wade in the knee deep water to the other side and also use the occasion for a longer walk in the forest. Adjacent to the waterfall are many bungalows for rent by the National Park service. I really like the place because - while visited by many locals - it is not overrun by tourists."

"Since we planned to take photos of Perseid Meteor Shower at Tat Ton National Park, we packed our tent and accessories to spend a night there. But when we arrived, we discovered that a house or a lodge that the park offers for rent is so much more easy for our life... we can charge our phones, iPad, notebook, and etc. So we decided to rent a room for 2 at one of a large house which the park divided it in 4 rooms. And of course, we chose the first one on the left side.
When a park officer opened the room for us, we were very impressed. The room is new and they have everything provided as same as a basic hotel. In this case, we had a right decision to rent a room instead of using our tent.
The problem is the officer told us that there wasn't anyone renting a room with us so it would be very quiet at night... with we had no problem with until when I was scrolling down my mobile phone, I heard someone moved a furniture and when I was showering, I heard a toddler crying and a mother silenced him or her (- -') But everything was okay when I exited the bathroom so yeah, may be the officer was wrong and there was some family renting a house or room nearby which we didn't see it through the thick of a forest.
Anyway, we were still impressed and would like to recommend anyone to rent a house or room at the park. It's worth it."
