What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Cape Panwa's serene atmosphere and stunning ocean views, highlighting luxury resorts like Sri Panwa and Cape Panwa Hotel as exceptional. While some find it a bit remote, most appreciate the tranquility and beauty, with Baba Nest being a standout for sunset experiences. Transportation can be a consideration due to the hilly terrain.
"Rather underwhelmed to be honest. 5 day stay family of 5 in 2 rooms with breakfast. Limited vegetarian options at breakfast and no halal options at all. Food signs taken away at 10.15am when breakfast is until 10.30am. Staff is rather miserable.
Beach is lovely and a good shuttle service running between 2 hotels until midnight. Unfortunately the tram that services hotel and beach was under maintenance the whole week we were here. Rooms were nice and big and housekeeping was good.
For the price certainly didn't feel like value for money."

"The room was old. The hot water didn’t work, breakfast had very limited options. I checked in on a rainy day, and the staff even told me: “You should pay extra for a better room because the one you booked is quite damp around the area.” — Disappointing... Walking from here to the food stalls and beach. Far and unphill
The only positive point is that the beach is quite private and beautiful"

"We were booked here by our travel agent and didn’t realise it was set on a steep cliff.
When we checked in we were told our room was a walk up a hill and in an another building separate from the reception block. This is also meant you would get wet if it was raining.
In the circumstances we paid to upgrade for a room in the same block as reception, block c.
There is transport available to bring you up and down the steep hill to the little street down by the sea where the sister hotel is, a few restaurants and a 7/11.
The hotel also has a funicular to get up and down to the beach if you don’t want to climb the steps. The beach has a lot of sharp coral at the shore at times depending on the tides so I would advise to bring beach shoes.
The rooms are spotless and very comfortable beds.
Breakfast was good and varied with the best selection of western food.
If you have any mobility issues I would avoid this hotel as there’s no elevators anywhere unless they can guarantee you a room on a floor level with reception."
