What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Prapadaeng is highly praised for its unique rustic charm, offering a peaceful escape with traditional Thai houses and lush gardens. Guests rave about the complimentary bicycles, friendly staff, and the authentic local experience. While some find the amenities basic, the overall sentiment is one of satisfaction with the tranquil atmosphere and value for money.
"Hotel location is great, nearby main road of the island. They have many bikes you can borrow, free of charge! The accommodation has vintage vibe, with rooms being separated from each other and they are all elevated from the ground. Rooms are spacious.
We even got simple breakfast. They had coffee, tea, Milo, and bread that we could freely take. We also ordered fried egg and they offered soup that we declined, as it contained pork, which we don’t eat.
The staffs were also very friendly.
Overall, very satisfied with our stay there."

"If you're staying on the island, this experience was amazing. They're very welcoming and nice.
They will cook for you if you bring ingredients(though we didn't utilize that service, theres a great family restaurant nearby), breakfast was eggs and toast which they already had there!
It was a great and quiet place to stay!
The free bikes were such an amazing addition and helped us get around the island easily.
This is more of a rustic stay, I would say the bikes are too. But if you're familiar with the island, it fits right into the experience!"

"Just the best. I love the guy at the counter. Forgot his name, sorry. They were super helpful and kind. The rooms are a good value and it's a peaceful nice place to be. I wish there was more like this available in Bangkok. Make sure to hit all the local markets, not just the "floating market" which doesn't float, and don't be scared to use the ferry
There's an excellent little outdoor bar just up the street on the corner that serves street food during the day and live music at night. You can smoke a joint or drink and there's meat grilling. Can't ask for more. I would review them but they aren't on maps, Tell them Jeff sent you"
