"After World War II the remains of 1400 British and 300 Dutch were exhumed from alongside the Thai-Burma railway line and placed at this cemetery. This cemetery is cared for by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, and is one of two war graves located in Kanchanaburi. This site is well maintained and is a place of peaceful reflection. There is minimal shade here and no bathrooms."
