What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Wat Muen Ngern Kong for its serene atmosphere and peaceful ambiance, making it a great spot for quiet reflection and photography. It's appreciated for being a functioning temple rather than a purely tourist attraction, offering a more authentic experience. Some note its smaller size and the presence of a vocal dog as minor points.
"Quiet temple with a great atmosphere for praying. Excellent for photography as well.
Temple has been set up for over 600 years."
Paulo Gaspar
"Not really a tourist attraction. Looks more like a day-to-day functioning wat. You probably will have this place all to yourself. There is a large reclining buddha statue, a big golden chedi, and a cluttered main temple hall. There's also a pool with giant black fish, and a cage with a vicious dog. The sign was my favorite thing here - but the dog was barking so much that I was afraid to get close enough to look!"
Todd Jameson
"It’s rather a smaller temple comparing to many in this area."
