As someone who runs an animal sanctuary, I felt compelled to express my concern. I believe it would be wonderful for the restaurant to embrace its Buddhist roots by demonstrating compassion towards all living beings, including this bird.
Birds are meant to fly and thrive in their natural environment. Providing an aviary where the bird can move freely, stretch its wings, and interact with other birds would greatly enhance its quality of life.
