What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Ngao Waterfall is praised for its stunning natural beauty, particularly the impressive cascade and the serene pools. Visitors appreciate the short, well-maintained trails and the peaceful atmosphere. However, some have noted concerns regarding entrance fees and pet policies.
"Definitely a worthy place to go but you should prepare for rain. The routes to walk are all very short and the entrance fee is pretty high but the waterfall is surely beautiful"
Joshua
"Despite the rainy weather, the trip itself was nice. However, I find it unacceptable that, even with my Thai ID card, I was charged a higher entrance fee than my wife. On top of that, our small puppy was not allowed to join us, despite being told beforehand that it would be possible. These issues left a negative impression and should be addressed."

"It is an amazing place.
- 500 meter walk to the big waterfalls. But it's definitely worth it. There is the shallow pool at the bottom of the waterfalls. And if you're dare, you can sit right where the waterfall crushes into the poolan amazing feeling.
- right after the entrance. On the left side there are three nice pools which are deeper and are good also for kids.
Its a beautiful piece of nature!"

Some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with entrance fees, particularly noting discrepancies between fees for Thai nationals and foreigners, and even between different Thai visitors. The policy of not allowing pets, even small ones, has also been a negative point for some.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the overall sentiment leans positive, with many finding the natural beauty and the experience of being close to the powerful waterfall to be highly rewarding. The accessibility of the main falls and the presence of family-friendly pools contribute to its appeal as a worthwhile destination.
