"We really enjoyed this beach with the little shack off one of the beach access sites. The family that ran it were so nice and happy. The food they offered was fresh and delicious with their $5 alcoholic drinks. There were a couple of people roaming trying to sell bracelets, but a firm no sent them moving on to another section of the beach. There was an older woman braiding hair and she was amazing. The beach was clear and the water was warm. The table, umbrella and chairs were free to sit under. Though the surrounding area is more of an industrial feel, this beach was the highlight of our cruise."

"Had an amazing time at Pirate’s Cove. The staff was super friendly from the moment I arrived no long wait to enter, and everything was smooth. I paid $16 for admission and $10 each way for the cab, which was well worth it. The place is clean, well kept, and there’s a lot to do. Customer service overall is top tier, and the vibe is very welcoming. I grabbed food from Jack Sparrow Grill, and it was so good. The conch fritters and wings were fresh, hot, and made to order. I loved that there was no extra charge for using my card or Apple Pay. Everything was very affordable too, which made the experience even better. Definitely recommend checking it out if you’re in the Bahamas."

"We visited twice in the same week. Had a really fun time. It cost $15 per person to get in and that includes access to the beach and use of kayaks and paddleboards in 15 minute increments as well as use of the water trampoline. If you want anything else beyond that, you will pay more - for a beach chair, for an umbrella, etc. The snorkeling was really good too. Lots of fish! I don't know if you can rent snorkel gear though. We had our own. Staff were friendly and helpful. We really liked the wood carvings by Leonardo too. One thing to be aware of if you're not going from a cruise is that the place does close as soon as the cruise customers leave. We expected it to stay open till 5:00 as that's what Google says but both days it was closed up by 3:20. We didn't have to leave then though and still used the beach and trampoline on our own, which was pretty fun too!"
