"It's a beautiful place to walk around with a lot of trees and well maintained trails. I saw a yellow-crowned night heron near the pond (see photo)."

"I had a great time, there was always someone willing to answer my questions. The amount of information concerning conservation in the Bahamas and identifying of butterfly and sea shell display is almost unparalleled. Looking forward to returning!"

"Hot and beautiful. Many indigenous plants and some not. A couple ponds, one with a smaller fresh water turtle that swam 100 yards to see if we had something to feed it. We did not. Alas. Much to see with an indoor air conditioned area that had the history of Grand Bahama and it's founding people all the way back to the Arowak. The sea covered the islands ions ago and then receded 300 feet and gradually came back up to it's current level. Much more info as well. And let's not forget Donnie the indigenous parrot."
