What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the strong, delicious local coffee and the pleasant atmosphere of the waterfront cafes. The scenic promenade and historical sights like Belem Tower are also highlights. However, some find the payment system (cash-preferred) and bag policies inconvenient, and certain coffee prices are noted as being on the higher side.
"The coffee is strong and dark chocolate-like. It's really delicious. The atmosphere is unlike anything you'd find in East Timor. But there's a strange system. They don't accept credit cards, only bank transfers or cash. Plus, for $40, they only give you one shopping bag. Even if you spend $100, they only give you one. So, you have to ask them to split the bill. For $100, they might give you two, but they don't.
Long black is strong with 4 shots, and latte is only 1 shot because the milk doesn't taste good. I don't really... recommend it."

"I didn’t have a chance to have coffee as no decaf option but bought some offer for coffee lovers. Drip coffee for one is $1 and good for souvenirs. Shop atmosphere was very nice!"

"Very good coffee! Enjoyed it a lot.
Avocado juice — something special and new to try!
Wanted to take even a second one, haha.
Coffee is a bit pricey though (for the place) — 4$ flat white!"
