The cave dwellings blend seamlessly with the landscape, offering a rare glimpse into Amazigh heritage — quiet, authentic, and absolutely captivating. The family dwelling there offers you bread and olive oil, you can keep a tip for them, ample parking available outside."

Koel Ganguly

"Lovely family and very welcoming to all the hundreds of tourists they must see every day. They gave us hot fresh bread, just baked, and olive oil / chilli and tomato dip which was delicious.
I know this is somewhat staged by the Tunisia tourist board but even still , it was nice to see how the locals used to live ( even with solar panels and batteries) .
Highly recommended stop off and the Berber house was very cool!"

Pete B

"The family still live there. We saw them cooking their own dish (not for selling). We saw their solar panel equipment (why would they install it if it is fake trap). I am amazed for cozy it is !!"
