Akbük Bay is praised for its stunning, crystal-clear waters and beautiful mountain scenery, offering a serene escape. However, visitors note the pebbly beach, rapid depth increase, and the high cost of sunbeds and car entry as drawbacks. Some also find the music and car traffic on the beach disruptive.
"A lovely serene bay with sun beds partially in the water. Round pebbles, no sand, so you would be advised to wear some form of footwear. It gets deep very quickly, and the also has a sharp drop. Good for swimmers, but not very suitable for youngsters.
There is hot and cold food and hot and cold drinks, as well as alcoholic beverages for sale there.
Take snorkels and goggles to make the best of the crystal clear, warm waters.
The route there is very scenic, but windy roads."

"Went for a few nights. Stayed at a campground. Peaceful, serene, gorgeous crystal clear water. Enjoyed kayaking, swimming, paddle boarding, and just staring at the gorgeous sea set against a backdrop of mountains."

"Very very nice place. We came with a sailing boat and just anchored in the middle of the bay, though there is also a jetty that seems to supply water and electricity (I don’t know the cost). There is the main beach with loud music and sun beds and restaurants and on the other side there are camping areas with also with shallow water and lots of children playing. Small supermarket is available with only basic things. Worth a visit."
