Reviews Summary

Visitors find the museum's historical narratives compelling, particularly when guided by the passionate long-term staff member. The combined ticket offering excellent value for exploring two sites is a major plus. However, the lack of English signage and the cash-only payment policy are significant drawbacks for international visitors.

"COMPLETE GARBAGE

Waste of time.

I don't understand how it's rated so high.

There's a huge UNESCO World Heritage Site by the entrance, yet there is nearly no English text and no audio guides.

Have a look at my pictures to understand how poor the English signage is."

"40 tl per person with only cash. Cards were not allowed for the payment. What We did there was playing with small cats and huge dogs."

Kerry R.

"The place has many amazing stories and history but it needs upgrade. So poor and empty also if you have kids it is not recommended they will get boring. There is the clock tower (saat kulesi) and there is a man who were working there for 54 years still saying and explaining every detail like it was his first time, he is amazing and icon himself. Otherwise enjoy the view from up for the city with NO coffee or tea."
