"As per the will of his sister Gevher Nesibe, who died.of an illness, the Anatolian Seljuk State Sultan Giyaseddin Keyhüsrev I commissioned this structure in the year 1204. The structure is comprised of a medica madrasah, hospital and a mental asylum. The madrasah is regarded as the Anatolia's first applied medicine madrasah and hospital. Currently it houses the Seljuk Civilization Museum."

It is a well designed/planned museum with limited English description/stories but they put an english note on most objects.
The overall museum is bigger than what it seem, I really like the lay out of it.
Do not skip the music/theraphy hall it is pretty, so is the hammam.
I got a bit of shock with sudden human model in this hall, just be aware.
The museum is empty, I can enjoy all of it by myself (went there around 10am)."
