What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Ihlamur Pavilion for its serene gardens, charming tea salon, and beautiful Baroque architecture. It's seen as a peaceful escape from the city's hustle. Some find the pavilion itself a bit small, but the overall experience is highly regarded for its tranquility and aesthetic appeal.
"Beautiful green refuge smack in the middle of the urban jungle that is Nişantaşı. İt’s a small park with a small palace like pavilion that the Sultan’s family used as a weekend resort. The pavilion is small but it’s worthwile to have a peek inside. When İ was there it wasn’t open. İ asked one of the staff to open the pavilion. He showed me around and told me a lot about the decoration of the two rooms and the history of the place! A nice place to spend an hour and have a coffee or breakfast."
Wiecher Van Der Laan
"Very small palace with only two rooms. The visit only takes a few minutes and you are not allowed to take photos indoors. The palace itself doesn’t justify the ticket price but the garden surrounding it is worth a visit in my opinion."
Sami Porschen
"Garden tickets are best choice in my opinion. Relaxing and full of ducks, peacocks and definitely friendly cats"
