What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Iznik for its rich historical significance, particularly its role in early Christianity and its beautiful Iznik tiles. The town's relaxed atmosphere and the scenic lake are also highlights. However, some find accommodation options basic and note issues with sound insulation in certain hotels.
"In Iznik center, 3-4 minutes walking to intercity bus station, great location, 7-8 minutes walking to lake, bazaar, all three letter markets, stores, neighborhood market, small touristic tile shops, small but cute, clean, I can say a wonderful boutique hotel or guesthouse. The rooms are a bit small like 4 m2 but it was enough for us. We didn't really need the room since we were out all day anyway, the only downside was that there was no mini fridge in the rooms but since the hotel owner Leman sister let us use the common fridge downstairs, this was not a problem either. The price is also very reasonable, Iznik center is both a cute historical town and a developed metropolitan neighborhood, Iznik lake shore is also very beautiful, clean, tidy, we loved it, we are glad we went, we are glad we chose Iznik Istanbul Hotel, I send my greetings and love to our dear sister Leman, her son and smiling daughter, we They hosted us like a family,"

"It is a very good hotel in terms of price performance, and the auntie's attention to detail is also very successful."

"The price is reasonable. In the winter, the water temperature in the bathroom when you go to take a shower is not even lukewarm. The TV was working. Unfortunately, the sound insulation is very bad. Unfortunately, you hear the guy next door constantly shouting."
