What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Killik Bay is praised for its stunning water colors and family-friendly sandy beach, with a unique clay mask experience at Kil Burnu. However, visitors warn of extreme summer crowds, difficult parking on narrow roads, and a need for better upkeep in surrounding areas during the off-season.
"Very nice beach, will be so very busy in the summer probably hard to find a sun chair or somewhere to park. We have visited Nov and everywhere was closed but beach was very clean and so inviting. The nearby closed premises need a good tidy up with their buildings also picking up the litter their customers have dropped for months and months. That's why I dropped a star as the litter is an issue!"

"It's a beautiful bay. If you don't want to sit in the pool or swim, you can just set up some chairs and sunshades on the beach and enjoy the beautiful sea. While the first few meters of the sea are a bit rocky, after that, it's a beautiful sandy beach. Boat tours always visit this bay, and you can access it from the beach and enjoy the same experience. But as I mentioned, if you bring some shade, a sun lounger, and some food and drinks, you'll have a great time. It's a great place for families with children. You can also make a nice mask with the clay you collect from the rocky shore. We didn't collect any because our family doesn't need it, and we have very baby-like skin. 😂😂😂😂"

Navigating Summer Crowds
Some visitors have noted that while the beach itself is beautiful, the surrounding areas and closed premises could benefit from a cleanup. This suggests that while the natural beauty is undeniable, the infrastructure and upkeep might not always match visitor expectations, particularly outside of the main tourist season.
The Unique Clay Mask Experience
While the clay is readily available, it's worth noting that not all visitors partake. Some mention having 'baby-like skin' and not needing it, while others simply focus on the beach and water. However, for those seeking an authentic and natural experience, the clay mask is a must-try. Remember to rinse off thoroughly after applying the clay to enjoy the full benefits.
