What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Olympos Ancient City and Beach are highly praised for their unique combination of historical ruins and natural beauty. Visitors love the untouched feel of the beach and the immersive experience of walking through ancient Lycian sites. Some find the summer heat intense and note that facilities can be basic.
"Shady paths, ancient ruins, a sense of timelessness. And at the end, a wild beach with turquoise water.
But the real discovery was the forbidden path.
We climbed the tower. And saw everything differently: the beach, the city lost in the jungle.
It felt like flight. Freedom. And… home.
I will be back. For more"

"Ancient city, you can park directly at the entrance or as well reach it via the Olympus beach. It's 500m walk around the beach. The site is quite big. There is no much shadow so avoid the mid day visit. The side is included in the museum pass"

"It's the ruins of an ancient city and so on some level it has to be interesting and special and I did enjoy exploring here, but it was somewhat lacking compared to other ancient sites I visited in this area of Turkey.
We were able to enter for free from the beach, coming from Çirali, which was welcome!"
