What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Otağtepe is celebrated for its stunning, unobstructed views of the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge and Istanbul's European skyline, making it a prime spot for photography. While entry and parking are free, visitors note that prime viewing areas can get crowded, and professional photography is restricted. Some find it less visually appealing than Nakkaştepe, but it remains a popular choice for its unique bridge perspective.
"İstanbul"
C K
"At the base of the eastern piers of the FSM Bridge, it offers a unique view of Istanbul and a stroll through the park. There are also a couple of mini pools with turtles and a historic mini cistern thought to date back to the Byzantine period. People come here not so much to wander the park as to take photos of the scenery. That's why the viewing points are always crowded. While it's enjoyable to see the city with the naked eye, the tall trees and parkway are a good spot for photographers, and the sheer volume of people makes it difficult to get good photos. I think winter is more suitable for photographers. The place is beautiful, but if you're passing through here, it's more logical to go there than to take a direct tour."
