What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Polonezköy Nature Park for its serene atmosphere and ample space, making it an ideal spot for picnics and family outings. It's a great natural escape from the city, though getting there can require some planning, especially without a car.
"This place is very unique. A peaceful forest environment. Pleasant and clean air. In some parts of this place, facilities for accommodation, eating, picnicking, and children's play are provided. And in another part, a special walking path is provided. In front of the city
park, there is a summer farm where you can pick cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants from the trees and then buy them."

"Some gorgeous scenery along the main trail; just a shame it’s not longer/there’s no footpaths which allow people to connect to other nearby walking trails without having to take their lives into their own hands along busy main roads. Also, if you don’t have your own car then you will get the double taxi scam on the way back of ‘turning the meter on prior to arrival’ and ‘paying the bridge toll’."

"Polonezköy Nature Park was absolutely one of the best days of my entire trip. The trails are beautiful, surrounded by tall green trees that form a peaceful canopy. It’s the perfect place for walking, relaxing, or just connecting with nature. Everything about the park feels calm and refreshing. The paths are well-marked and shaded, making it enjoyable even on sunny days. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet escape close to Istanbul. Don’t miss it — truly a hidden gem."
