"This is a painful example of how a historic building can be stripped of its soul. The way this venue is used shows a complete disregard for architectural integrity and cultural responsibility. The original aesthetic, atmosphere, and historical weight of the building have been reduced to a backdrop for a commercial concept.
Istanbul’s heritage is not a playground for private branding. When historical structures are treated as disposable interiors rather than protected cultural assets, the damage is not only visual but cultural and irreversible. Deeply disappointing."

"Not really worth the price for what you get. It’s a very hyped-up and glamorous place, but the service doesn’t quite match the image.
The building itself is stunning – the lobby, rooms, and gym are beautifully designed. However, there were some disappointing details. Upon arrival, no one helped us with luggage (although they did assist when checking out). Our room (#50) was very noisy on Saturday night with music playing until 3 AM. The air conditioning was uncomfortable – it blew directly onto the bed, and if turned off the room became too hot.
Some amenities also felt below standard: the kettle was in very poor condition, and the bathroom door actually fell off and had to be fixed. The sink was very small, with no space for personal items – perhaps a small side table could help. Laundry service also failed: I left clothes in the provided bag with a note, but nothing was cleaned, which was surprising.
Another thing to note is their photography policy – guests are not informed upon check-in that photos are not allowed. If this is important to the hotel, it should be mentioned clearly. At the same time, the atmosphere didn’t feel private in the evenings, with large groups of people walking through the property for events or the restaurant.
We also visited the lobby café, where the service felt a little unfriendly and distant. Overall, the design and ambiance are impressive, but the service and attention to detail leave room for improvement. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t return."
