What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Telmessos Theater a worthwhile free attraction in Fethiye, appreciating its historical significance and the blend of ancient and modern restoration. While some feel it's been over-restored, others enjoy the views and the potential for attending events. It's often seen as a good complement to exploring the nearby Old Town and rock tombs.
"As the other reviews state, not an overly impressive site as it has had a lot of recent construction. There are no signed or information on the site. But if you are in Fethiye and close by, worth the walk over to take a look. It’s free and open to the public to walk in. The good part of walking/visiting the site was that I then went to Old Town where there are some nice shops and if you go early (before 11am) it’s quiet and no crowds."

"It's been fixed up too much. You can barely see the remnants of the old theatre now"
