"It is a nice quite place for deliberations with 100% quarantine Security and the most important issue at Parliament is for a person to access it,he/she deserves to go with National Identification documents.
Security check is everytime that you get out and enter inside.
It has been my pleasure offering sign language Interpretation services at the Parliament for the first time and the Speakers both the Chef and the Deputy are disability sensitive where in every motion the representative of the persons with Disabilities were given the room to deliberate."

"As a mental health and disability inclusion advocate, attending the 5-day mental health awareness camp in 2024 organized by the Uganda Parliamentary Forum on Mental Health (UPFMH) at the Parliament of Uganda was an incredibly fulfilling experience. The event fostered meaningful conversations about mental health and the importance of inclusion, and I was deeply inspired by the commitment of everyone involved.
The last day was especially memorable, as we wrapped up with some fun physical exercises. It was a great way to not only get active but also bond with fellow participants. The exercises brought a sense of joy and camaraderie, showing that mental well-being is closely tied to physical health. It was a perfect way to end the camp on a high note, reinforcing the message that mental health awareness can be engaging, positive, and full of energy.
