Reviews Summary

Shevchenko Park is a vast, natural 'forest within the city' offering a peaceful escape with mature trees and river views. While appreciated for its tranquility and shade, visitors note it's somewhat neglected, with litter and fallen branches, and could benefit from better maintenance of paths and benches.

"It's quite a large park, but I'd even say it's just a forest within the city. It's not particularly cleared and is quite dense for a park, although there are paths and benches here and there. There are several slopes down to Smotrich and a couple of unexpected views of the old town. There's plenty of shade, making it a pleasant stroll on a hot day, listening to the birds singing, if you don't have an oxygen sensitivity."

Oleksii Bandurin

"This place is a real break from the noisy civilization. There are big mature trees (thanks to those who planted them). But the park is neglected, full of garbage, bushes and dry branches that fall with every wind."

Lelya

"A wonderful park, but trees often fall."
