What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Makovytsia Mountain is praised for its beautiful scenery and relatively easy hiking trail, offering marvelous views and photo opportunities. However, a significant drawback highlighted by visitors is the poor quality and hygiene of the 'Shinok' cafe at the summit, with many recommending to avoid it.
"Nice views, you can see even Hoverla from some points"
Roman Kutsenko
"The mountain is beautiful and the sightseeing is marvelous. We got a lot of positive impressions and did a lot of photos.
But the cafe “Shinok” is a dirty place with a terrible cooking and bad hand-made alcohol. After visiting this cafe I got food poisoning and a “cool night” as well. The prices are higher than restaurants and food is mediocre. Also they give you very old dirty cutlery.
So if you plan to visit the Makovitsa mountain (especially with your kids), do not go to that cafe. If you go by your feet it will be good to order walking sticks before."

"Good view and good location. Pretty easy to hike. You can also take kids for this walk))"
