What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Dubai Marina Walk for its stunning waterfront views, vibrant atmosphere, and diverse dining options, especially during the evening when the city lights up. While generally a positive experience, some find parking challenging and the walk can be quite long in the heat.
"I clock my 10k steps here almost every day, whether under the bright Dubai sunrise, sunset or beneath the shimmering night skyline. Dubai Marina Walk is timeless, one of the city’s oldest and most beautiful waterfront stretches, yet it still feels fresh and alive. The combination of water views, elegant yachts, buzzing cafés, and palm-lined paths makes every walk feel like an experience, not just exercise. It’s my favorite spot to reset, reflect, and soak in Dubai’s rich vibe.
Pro tip: visit just before sunset to watch the skyline shift from golden hues to sparkling night lights, your camera will thank you.
📍First-Timers: Comfortable shoes for the full stretch."

"My son wanted to see the place at night. We spent less than an hour. It is much better at night, than during the day. During the day it is just hot to very hot Sun, skyscrapers - concrete and glass; and yachts jumbled up. At night you get some colors from the buildings and reflecting from the water. Littered with eageries and cafes, good place to hang around though."

"Dubai Marina Walk is easily one of my favorite places in the city and an absolute gem for anyone visiting or living in Dubai. The combination of stunning waterfront views, modern architecture, and a lively, relaxing atmosphere makes it an ideal spot for both day and night outings.
The 7-kilometer promenade is perfect for a peaceful walk, a jog, or even just sitting and people-watching by the water. Lined with palm trees, stylish cafes, restaurants, and boutique shops, there’s never a dull moment. Whether you’re in the mood for a casual coffee, a romantic dinner, or international cuisine, you’ll find it here. Pier 7, with its variety of restaurants and gorgeous marina views, is especially worth a visit.
One of the things I love most is the vibe – it’s energetic yet calming, with yachts sailing by, street performers sometimes entertaining, and locals and tourists all enjoying the surroundings. The place feels very safe and clean, and it’s also well-connected with metro and tram stations nearby.
Dubai Marina Mall is just a short walk away, offering more food, shopping, and entertainment options. You can also hop on a boat tour or a luxury yacht cruise right from the marina to see the skyline from the water, which is a fantastic experience.
Overall, Dubai Marina Walk is the perfect mix of luxury, leisure, and beauty. Highly recommended whether you’re looking for a relaxing stroll or a vibrant night out!"
