What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Heritage Village for its free entry and authentic glimpse into Emirati history and culture. Many appreciate the opportunity to learn about traditional Bedouin life and crafts. However, some note that the experience can be limited by the summer heat, and a few found it to be more commercial than expected, though the museum exhibits are often highlighted as a strong point.
"Wow a beautiful place inside and out. Could been better if its not too hot we could go and explore more on outside the Palace. But unfortunately it was summer during our visit. So its more on indoors"
Eilene D
"Despite the July heat, I loved walking around this place. The indoor exhibitions are excellent, offering great insight into Emirati history, traditions, and culture. We were warmly welcomed by two Emirati women in traditional dresses who offered us delicious tea, coffee, and dates grown in the heritage village's garden. An African woman, who was also working there, was incredibly patient and educated, answering all our questions about Emirati traditions in English. This place is a must-visit, especially since entry is free."

"It’s a nice place for a quick get away and learn some about history of Abu Dhabi and Arab culture. Best time to visit is in winter when weather is nice.
Cornich view is beautiful from this place.
Small little heritage site among city scrapers."
