Reviews Summary

Visitors praise Qasr Al Hosn as a well-restored historical gem offering deep insights into Emirati culture and the UAE's formation. Many appreciate the blend of old and new, the informative exhibits, and the adjacent cultural spaces. Some feel exhibits could be more extensive, and renovations might obscure original features for purists.

"Well, it is well worth its price given how the nearby House of Artisans can be visited with its ticket as well. While the renovations may seem overdone to some, they do clearly demarcate what is new and what is old. I do wish that they used all the available rooms for some exhibits but maybe there are plans for a future expansion of displayed items. Try to go slightly before sunset so you can see the beauty of the place in both sunlight and at night."

"This for was the seat of the Al Nahyan family and the museum is detailing the influence of the family and how they shaped Abu Dhabi and the UAE into what they are today. Such visionary leaders.
The fort is one of the biggest of the UAE, and very well restored. I spent a great time there, going from room to room to learn more about the Emirati customs and culture, practiced by the people living there at the time.
The place is very calm, loved it

Summary: another great visit of the UAE to learn about the history and customs.
A must go for the « UAE has no soul » cult for them to be cultured.
Another great visit to do. For those that think the UAE has no soul, well"

"What a hidden gem! Tucked in the bustling streets and high buildings of Abu Dhabi lies this wonderful piece of history. The restoration has been done so well and beautifully. I would have loved to hear/read more about the history of formation of UAE but nonetheless, it was all very informative and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The coffee ceremony in the building next door was great as well. Highly recommended!"
