"I stayed at The Edition Dubai for a business trip, having previously enjoyed an excellent experience at The Edition Singapore, which set fairly high expectations. Unfortunately, this stay fell well short, especially considering the price.
The room was small and very basic, not what I would associate with The Edition brand. I stayed on the 7th floor and found it extremely noisy at night, with traffic noise continuing well past midnight. Sleep quality was poor.
The location is convenient, within walking distance to Dubai Mall, and breakfast was acceptable, though limited to just two menu selections rather than a full buffet.
Overall, the value simply isn’t there. I decided to shorten my stay, that says it all. Dubai has many hotels that are significantly better and more comfortable at a lower price point. Disappointing stay."

"Wow I should have never booked here when there were so many sonderful hotels literally everywhere. The rooms are basic, hotel is basic. The slippers are shitty quality. It is just overall a huge disappointment for paying top dollar. The only reason I booked here is a friend already was gonna be here. What a disappointment. They didnt stock up the minibar and says call zero for stocjing it up. I called they tell me tp go dpwn and give a deposit for the minibar. Hello this is a five star hotel. The mini bar should have been there and all amenities should be top notch for paying top dollar. Do not stay in this hotel. Go to Kempinski or WA or basically any other 5 star hotel. I called and asked to cancel my booking they said they will get back. I am sure they will do nothing. The first time I am sp disappointed in a hotel.
Update: they cancelled my reservation and refunded me and I am going to Kempinski. The hotel stuff is very nice but they cant do anything on the amenities in the room. So make the amenities up to the standards please and you will get good reviews"

The in-room amenities were disappointing — towels seemed worn, slippers of basic quality, and coffee capsules without any recognizable brand. There was also no welcome drink or fruit, which is usually part of the experience in similar hotels.
I decided to shorten my stay after the first night.
Overall, it did not meet the standard I associate with hotels of this level."
